More about me…
I am a learning and development professional with a global perspective shaped by a life journey that started in Jeddah, moved through studies in Pakistan, and included a long professional stint in the UAE before I landed in Ontario. This international trek has basically turned adaptability into my secondary superpower, allowing me to collaborate with just about anyone to solve complex problems from every possible angle.
I specialize in learner centered design and use data driven analysis to create inclusive content that actually sticks. My technical foundation is built on what I like to call calculated creativity. It is the sweet spot where the precision of instructional design meets the visual storytelling skills I picked up during my side quest as a freelance photographer and videographer. (Example of my storytelling skills) While that business is now a hobby, the habit of obsessing over lighting and framing translates perfectly into building high fidelity digital learning assets.
When I am not mastering new software, I am usually lost in a book or deep in a gaming marathon. I tend to consume stories the same way I build courses: by breaking down how they are built to see exactly what keeps people hooked. My creative innate interests were a nice start, but I’m on team 'nurture.' My commitment to proving how much I believe in continous improvement has led me pursue two Master's degrees already, and I'm currently preparing for a third.
My curiosity extends well beyond the screen as I am an avid traveler and a dedicated fan of discovering new music and local flavors. I am currently on a personal mission to try every single variety of cheese in existence because I believe life is too short for boring snacks. This love for exploration keeps me open to new ideas and ensures that I am always looking for the next unique perspective to bring back to my work, one dairy sample at a time.
